Jesus or Mary in a tree

Donna and Frank Pascariello have a tree on their property that has a light patch on its bark. Of course, the patch MUST represent a religious figure of some kind. This is the rule whenever trees display any kind of discoloration. However, in the case of the Pascariello's tree, no one is sure exactly which religious figure it is. Jesus? Mary? A saint?

I think it looks like a generic ghost.

It looks more like Cthulhu than Jesus or Mary. Someone needs to expand their reading selections. However, I have never read Lovecraft, but I've played one.

Looks like a nut!

Oh wait .. are we talking about the tree, or the people who think they see religious figures in trees?

I think it's telling them they should chop it down to build an ark.

I think it looks like Mr Burns in that episode of The Simpsons where people think he's an alien.

Boy, Jesus is getting lazy.

Marc, for someone who is over 2,000 years old (and isn't Mel Brooks) he has a right to get lazy if he wants to.

You know, my biggest issue with this sort of thing is that NOBODY ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT JESUS LOOKED LIKE. But being born in the Middle East, he sure as hell didn't have the lily-colored ass most people seemed to think he had. If anything appears in any of these dumb images, it's just some random guy with a beard or random chick in a hood.

Sorry, no face at all this time, this one is just a tree trunk. Not even Emmett Kelly.

If we're going to be imaginative about it, what does that upstanding bit of wood on the right look like?

Yeah, this one is really pushing it. With most of these things I can at least see a vague shape that, if looked at in an open frame of mind while cross-eyed and drunk, might be given the benefit of the doubt that it is indeed a blobby shape. But with this tree. . .all I see is a tree. No discolourations or textures or whatever that give even a hint of anything other than being a tree.

So obviously it's a representation of Mr. Griffin.

It looks like The Flying Spaghetti Monster to me!
