Checking In…
Like the Loch Ness Monster, I've been hard to find recently. So I thought I'd resurface for a moment and say hello. I've been working hard on my next book, and finding it difficult to focus on anything other than that.

I had grand plans to work on the book AND keep posting to the blog... but it hasn't worked out that way. It's hard to focus on two projects at once. Well, some people can do it, but not me.

Anyway, until the book is done (around June) I'll probably be pretty scarce around here, unless I'm procrastinating, in which case I may throw up an occasional post. But in the meantime, perhaps I'll put up some kind of notice at the top of the blog so that people don't think I've fallen off the edge of the earth, or anything like that: "Curator absent... writing a book!"

That;s cool, Alex. I, for one, can certainly understand having to make a set of priorities for a while. (A SHORT while, hopefully....)

Check in ofter, and if you get a chance, drop by the forum and say 'Hi'. ( I notice you peeking in occasionally...) wink

Here's hoping the whole book project goes well. We miss you when you aren't around. I shall hope also that the time goes by quickly! smile

Why not get one of your regular trusted contributors to take over the admin of the blog for a while?

Good thing you've got all these trustworthy deputy curators about to keep an eye on things. smile

Looking forward to the new book, too!

I have Alex in a box, in my basement... he's beginning to smell, so I'd better move him to the freezer... he'll get out after that money shows up in that off-shore account. He knows what I mean, and that's all that counts.

Great to hear from you - thought something bad had happened all the best with the book, I know from experience that once you get into that it's hard to keep other projects going
