Ben Affleck’s Big Head
This photo of Ben Affleck is doing the rounds on celebrity gossip blogs. People are wondering if it's real or photoshopped.

It is an odd picture, but I'm almost certain it's real. Affleck just happens to be posed at a strange angle, and the small size of the kids around him make his head appear unnaturally large.

The picture comes from an event Affleck attended in Calgary on June 14 to support the oneXone charity. Wireimage.com has a gallery of photos of Affleck at this event. There are plenty of shots of him posing with these kids (including the shot above).

These are also VERY little kids. It's a cute photo though and so are the others.

I agree, cute picture. Props to Ben for charity work.

If it is fake, it is easy to find out by just let the picture be scanned by certain software programs (several of course to be sure). Such software can scan the pixels in it one by one and find out easy if the face is photoshopped.

In this case, this seems not the case.

I've heard of a theory that most movie and TV stars (I don't know if this applies to stage actors) have heads that are considerably larger than normal. This apparently gives them more "presence" in front of the camera. It would certainly be interesting to measure all their heads and see if this is true.

My vote is fake. Look at the collar of the tux and tie. His neck would have to be feet long to extend far enough for the difference in relative size.

if I photoshopped this, I would have gotten rid of the flash of white collar and, just have his noggin floating in the center.

much betterIt is an odd pic, but it's real
and makes me smile.
happy children and goofy photo-ops do that to me.

I think it's fake. Head is too big.

Actually, if you've ever seen Ben Affleck in real life, he actually has a pretty big head!
