Is Jim Morrison Alive?
image Most people think the musician Jim Morrison, lead singer for the Doors, died in Paris on July 3, 1971. But Gerald Pitts says that he "discovered Jim Morrison Living on a Ranch in the Pacific Northwest in the summer of 1998." According to him, Morrison is living a quiet life as an American cowboy "away from the Hollywood scene." Even though Morrison evidently engineered an elaborate death hoax to escape publicity, he agreed to appear on film for Pitts. You can buy a copy of this film for only $24.95 (shipping is extra). Pitts' site includes a video comparing the features of Jim Morrison the fifty-something cowboy to Jim Morrison the twenty-something singer. However, no matter how many times I watch the video, I just don't see any similarity.

i want proof that the lizard king is still breathing like finger prints
Posted by chris  in  usa  on  Thu Jul 07, 2005  at  01:25 PM
Maybe it's here, but no one seems to ask about fingerprints. Jim was arrested enough that these must still exist for identification purposes; have the guy in Oregon prove it with his fingerprints. Too simple?
Posted by Rich Gabel  in  California  on  Thu Jul 07, 2005  at  07:45 PM
rolleyes I didn't read all comments, but why don't they simply do a fingerprint comparison? Jim was arrested plenty of times and the images must be available somewhere. Is that too simple?

I find it kind of ironic that now even Jim Morrison is alive, maybe he lives right next door to Elvis. Perhaps they go out and shoo away Big Foot together, that is if they don't get abducted by aliens that day. I understand it's hard to think someone we admired is dead, for some they have to hang on to a lie. It's sickening that these people are making money off it, duping gullible fans. Sadly, the Lizard King is gone, just the way he wanted it.

Last time we went up to Klamath, we checked out the 2491 Biehn St. address not far from our house up there and listed on page one of this thread and guess what? It doesn't exist ofcourse, LOL. There's 2541 which is some crappy apartments with a row of mailboxes, then a vacant lot (which might be it) and next to that is the State Patrol office. Do a TerraServer map of it and see what I mean.

Fake address for a fake Jim. Yeah, that sounds about right. wink

Jim Morrison is dead. Elvis Pressley is dead. Marilyn Monroe is dead. Just because you were not there to witness the occasion does not mean they are still alive. There are look-a-likes all over the country. So, if you run into Elvis, Jim or Marilyn, you have to face the reality that they are only impersonators and move on with your life.

It would be great if he were still alive. I think practicality rules on this, but I just can't get past the 'blackout' surrounding his death and burial. No one but the Dr. and Pam saw him dead, in the ground before anyone knew for sure? Two possibilities: he did stage it/he od'd that night in Paris, both equal in probability, a question likely never to be answered. As long as Morrison's death is debated, in a big way, he is still alive. It's all his illusion.......
Posted by bm  in  New Yawk  on  Tue Aug 16, 2005  at  04:53 PM
I have never understood the great blackout either but I do believe he od'd or had a heart attack caused by drug and alcohol excess in which case I guess it is still and od. I realize that Jim was considered "an international superstar" for lack of a better term and his Dad hardly had the clout to hush up the details of his death BUT his father was either an acting or retired Navy Admiral and at the time of his death, Jim was estranged from his entire family (I think Im right about the family part) but I know for sure he was estranged from his Dad. That is well-documented and if his family have ever spoken one word about him to the press to this day, I have never heard or read it. Just my dime's worth.

He's dead!

John Cleese: He is no more. He's bleedin' demised.

My husband said that perhaps one of the Elvis impersonators is actually the real Elvis impersonating himself so he can still be an entertainer, but not as important to the papparazzi. I don't believe that theory, but if my husband's theory is correct, then, perhaps Jim Morrison is impersonating himself.

YEah Man TaKe some payote...Jim's dead..hes better off that way......if you wanna go see jim fly to paris...smoke a joint in his grave...sing a song.......peace and Love..

It may be true. My friend talked to somebody who claims to know Jim. Just now, out of curiousity, I Googled for "jim morrison fake death", and this is how I find this site. My jaw literally dropped when Gerald claimed to have found Jim living in a ranch in the Pacific Northwest. Because - that is where I live. The facts are coming together. It's hard to believe, but this can't be a coincidence... I'm going to see if I can talk to the guy tomorrow, because he has pictures of "Jim" in his 50's and my friend says that they look exactly alike except for the obvious age difference.

BTW C'maaaaaaaan... he's not living in Klamath Falls right now. Close, but not close enough.

I'm in my late 20's,and I have to say,I love Jim's poetry.Sometimes,I wonder... Do you people suppose that he and Stevie Nicks could have made a lovely couple?.After all,Stevie is poetic as well.A Celtic wedding perhaps?.

Patricia Kennealy(Morrison):If you are reading this please forgive me,if I offended you,by posting this comment.I'm just an uneducated twenty-something who like you is seacrhing for truth in the universe.I will say out of respect, that you are one of many Jim's soul mate.

Jim Morrison:If you're alive,LOL.You're very
creative comparing to some of the crap that's on the radio/tv nowadays.Peace out, wherever you are.

You smell that? Yup, that's bullshit.
Let's have another Elvis sighting, or something. This way, when bullshit crawls it's way into your life, you can see it coming around the corner.

Jim is not alive anymore, not in the flesh and bones anyway.I must say that I have never known him or herd of this man until I saw him in my dreams. He was walikng on the sands right thowards me,he was standing like right in front of me when he stopped and smiled. He just said "Im Jim and I already know you name." then he smiled and with a lot of light he left me there standing.I woked up,and checked out just who he was. This happend when I was 21 in the year 2001,im 25 now.I became, and still am,a great fan of him.He truly was a great poet, shaman, lead singer and the rock icon.

On top of all that i think,he could not live without his Pamela.Just being without her would break his heart to pieces.Jim had a tender, loving heart, and that was his ultimate end. With such a pain in my heart,"the end would also be my only fiend."

You dont have to believe my story, but i think when you die he will be greathing all of his true fans, dont let him down!
Jim never left my heart, and his pain is gone now.

three things about this jim morrison conundrum....
1. i did a photograph to photograph comparison of this dude's autograph and the lizard king's autograph (which i found a picture of online somewhere) and they are nothing alike.
2. i found ray manzerik(is that how you spell it?)'s website and emailed him about his buddy being found alive and well. whoever responded to my email simply stated "that is not him. that website is a hoax. we wish he were alive too, but hes not."
3. wasnt jim morrison obsessed with INDIANS? i cant imagine him becoming ever becoming a cowboy

oh puhhhhlease! not another dead celebrity conspiracy theory. i came here because i thought it'd have info on the status of his current estate. if he really did survive paris, how did pam courson's family become so wealthy upon her death in '74. do you really think someone as clingy as courson would have let that slide?
Posted by pixie chick  in  cali  on  Mon Oct 03, 2005  at  07:26 PM
Well, it was a closed casket. There was also a 3 day news blackout before anyone knew about his supposed death.

There's a good chance he did fake his death...
Posted by Robert  on  Fri Oct 14, 2005  at  12:30 PM
Yes, my dad is alive and I've known him all of my life...but this aint him. This is a germ. My dad sneaks into my house and has 200 kids...tis why he faked his death. I am haunted by Pamela...and my dad has taken my three kids...he is psychic and lives with Pamela Susan Shoop.... look...http://www.pamelasusanshoop.com/

P.S. the last baby, Hazel lives with Courtney Love and is his

Im sorry but i dont believe any of this....Why would Jim morrison suddenly agree to reveal himself to the public eye after all these years, if he persay, were alive? I mean isnt publicity what he was trying to escape from? Anyone can make someone look like somebody else with a little bit of help from computer programs..come on now...This pitt guy or whatever you would like 2 call him is a jerk if you ask me.......people these days, pathetic...
