No…rumors that Jeff Goldblum died…but he didn’t.

IMDB has this story about his ‘death’

And the New Zealand Herald also has this one.

The two you mentioned above there didn’t reference the Golf Course, or the note that Aussie news sources have been reporting this as truth. So I figured I’d add those 😊

If anyone hears any rumors about my death they are totally false. I checked myself not more than an hour ago and I still have a pulse. Thanks you all for your care and consideration though.

Of course, peoples’ definition of “celebrities” varies. There are probably plenty of other people who are considered celebrities somewhere or another who have died in recent days.

In fact, just a few days ago a guy here I knew died. He was one of the men whose character was portrayed in the HBO series Band of Brothers. He might not have the same world-wide recognition as a Michael Jackson, but I suppose could count at least as moderately famous.
