Why do they class it as a concert when it’s only a single organ performing?  And are there people attending this “concert”?

And I thought it was a well-known fact that people do bizzare things to commemorate things the average person has never heard of. wink

Ah, never mind.  Ignore my first question.  Apparently “concert” is defined as a performance given by one or more singers or instrumentalists or both.

Hmm it mentions Notra Dame in photo caption. althought the concert is taking place in Germany doh!.

I wonder how long the organ will last or how long before some one just forgets about the next chord or pause. How long before people stop caring,

Oh! about that long.  smile

Remember:  this is a totally pointless, useless activity that hardly anybody anywhere will ever care about, which means that it will probably all be carried through perfectly and with great dedication.

This isn’t music, it’s a publicity stunt, and not worthy of respect or interest.  Bah humbug.

Astronomers found that black holes generate musical notes (they just happen to be about 50 octaves below what we can hear), so if you want a really long concert you can try listening to one of those, I suppose.  Forget about a puny 639 years!

Lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist
In Western Australi

Little Accipiter loved that girl enough
He told her jokes and crazy facts
And other forum stuff

Smerk the cutest dragon:
Traveled cross the sea,
To hunt her prey in foriegn lands,
And snuggle with Acci!

Smerk the cutest dragon
Is getting married now they say
Though little Accipiter
Has yet to name the day.
