Going to see Iron Man tonight.  Want me to tape a copy?

No thanks.  I already have my ticket.  Going after work to the 9:45 PM show.

Iron Man.

Wow.

Wowwowwowwowwowwowwowwowwow.

That was awesome.  That was simply everything I hoped it would be.  And a little more.

If you are the least bit of a fan of this type of movie (action, adventure, and/or super/comic book hero) I would easily say it’s a must see.

Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark is casting at its most perfect.  I don’t think I could offer a suggestion for anyone I would rather see in the role or who I think would do a better job.

Incredible.

ETA: Stay until the end of the credits.  Mal and NEO (the only two I know who have seen it so far), I hope you stayed.  You will especially like it (the end-credits) if you have any knowledge of the comics.

ETAA: I am also glad I stayed for the credits because I found out that Jarvis (the computer system) is voiced by Paul Bettany.  I couldn’t put a face with the name at first.  But if I hadn’t paid attention to it I wouldn’t have found out from IMDb.  He’s not listed there in the Iron Man credits and under his profile he doesn’t have Iron Man listed in his credits.  Bah!

I heard someone coming out say to another, stay until the credits are over.  It seems to be a standard practice with all these new action hero movies.  It was very awesome I must say, worth $40 for the family to see?  No movie is worth that much.

I wanted to go, but no dice.  Maybe this weekend.

I might actually see the new Batman movie, for a change.  I still haven’t seen the last four or five, though I know many of them aren’t worth it.

Go rent the last one (Batman Begins), which this new one is “related” to.  The older movies probably are not worth it (even to rent), depending on which ones you haven’t seen.  But Batman Begins is about as good as superhero movies come (like Iron Man) and this new one looks like it will be close to on par with that.

Shall be seeing Indiana Jones Friday night after work.  Yay!

The new Mummy movie looks decent from the trailer.  You can rarely ever tell from the trailer, and I don’t expect a great cinematic event, but it should be a fun, summer, popcorn movie to go see.

For anyone who saw the video in the American Id(ol) thread I made and wondered why the three people that were in it were in it, it’s because they’re doing a movie together.  And Tropic Thunder looks like it’s going to be good.  Not sure I’m willing to pay movie theater prices to see it, though.

Went and saw Indie last night. Bah! If I wanted to see a good action/archaeologist/alien movie I’d stick with Stargate. This was definitely B grade.

However I’ve seen Iron Man twice now, very cool and I can’t wait for The Dark Knight. Mmmmmm, Christian Bale *drools*
