An Italian village which is situated on the north slope of a steep mountain is desiring to built a solar mirror to illuminate itself during the winter months.
Well, if I grew up in that town, I would probably be used to the three months of darkness, and think of them as a part of my life. I don’t think I’d want it to change. It might just be a minority who are proposing this.
I find it a bit odd though that a town would be built there in the first place.
An idea like this would never work around here; five minutes after it was built, some drunks would come along and start shooting it up with shotguns. It’s bad enough trying to keep road signs legible with all the bullet holes in them.
