Anybody on? I am back from a nice diner with my brother, in a brasserie opposite his house (we were a bit lazy). A friend of Marno and me works in the kitchen there.
Started with goat cheese in Parma ham on lettuce and those little seeds I don’t know the english name of (pine tree seeds?)
Then a potato soup on a bed of vegetable risoto, with Panga fish filet. (Panga is some African fish, tastes a bit like sole)
Then a spoom with pine-aple
Then a steak on a bed of mushrooms, with a wine sauce and Rosemary (unfortunately, slightly too much of the latter).
With this all we had a bottle of nice, although not really exceptional, Spanish red wine.
Then we had a plateau with different cheeses, accompanied by a fine 10 year old red Port wine.
And then a Cappucino, and a nice chat with the owner and her personel after the rest of the guest were gone.
