I’d love to have electronic books, it’s just a comfort and ease of use issue.

jeeze, I thought I was linking to something cool but it seems to have only inspired a debate on paper books vs. e-books…..o well.

as far as using all your ink to print one, yeah thats a problem if you are using a cheap ass printer that sucks down ink cartridges like 40 ouncers but if you have decent laser printer or even just have it printed at your local print shop, it is not an expensive proposition to just print out an e-book. 


also, I found it kind of ironic that the same people who complain about staring at a monitor for long periods of time are some of the very same people who I have noticed chatting for hours on end in the MoH forum :lol:

Personally, I have every post sent to me via e-mail, then print it out using a Copperplate font on 120gsm parchment paper using my custom quill-holding plotter before reading them. Unfortunately the standard OCR software that comes with my scanner can’t recognise my disciplined gothic handwriting, and my graphics tablet incorporating the custom Monte Blanc stylus doesn’t have a sufficiently quick response time to allow me to ‘dash off’ a quick reply, so I am forced to use this infernal ‘keyboard’ to compose my replies.

I imagine most people here do something similar.

Yeah, but personally, I find having a conversation (alternating reading and typing) less tedious than just reading.

:lol:  Thanks Chuck.  I will enjoy putting 1/3 million books on my computer 😉

I read enough stuff online that when I can have a print version, I generally will.  It’s so much easier on the eyes.  :gulp:
