I’ll make it easy:Since I was born in Canada, and live in the US, I emigrated from Canada, and immigrated to the US.

And furthermore, if you were a bottle of beer, you would be exported from Canada, and imported to the US.

hmmmmm, then according to Bush’s statement, that means we’re flattered that beer comes here (okay, only if it’s an immigrant though?)

But, okay, there again, Americans benefit from the beer….......right?

As far as ‘Emigrant’ and ‘Immigrant’ goes, you have to remember that our president *still* cannot pronounce ‘Nuclear’ correctly..

1: Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. If it does what it says, you should have no problem with this.
2: What proof will you accept that you are wrong? You ask us to change our mind, but we cannot change yours?
3: It is not our responsibility to disprove your claims, but rather your responsibility to prove them.
4. Personal testamonials are not proof.

What part of ‘meow’ don’t you understand?

And Thank God for that!

Otherwise, we would probably have already started a nuclear war!

I just wanted to drop a quick comment in on ordering prescriptions online…

Sure, you’re buying from a Canadian company - but where did THEY get the drugs?  The problem is, you can’t be sure they’re “clean” drugs.  They might have been cut with other things, just like illegal drugs are, so that you have more pills, but less actual drug.  The FDA evaluates U.S. drugs.  I at least try to understand both sides of the fence on this.

Maegan, yes it is true that you cannot be sure where a prescription drug (or any other commodity) has actually been manufactured no matter who you purchase them from online.  But even from the corner pharmacy, you cannot know for sure either.  This is almost like the thread ‘Are Merchants responsible for what they sell you’.

Where an adult shops for reasonable and necessities really is his/her choice in the end and so is the risk.  However, I am sure the kind of idea you’ve pointed out is cleverly used by this administration to justify a number of issues and to point a finger that focuses the public away from a true agenda on immigration and the building of ‘walls’.

All of this subterfuge is the game of politics though and it’s a game that annoyingly places the rest of us as little game board pieces to be moved about.  I think we have better things (or at least more fun things) to do with our lives.
