Well the weather has decided to do an about turn and it was up about 10C today. It’s forecast to be above freezing for the next week or so. I do hope that means spring is coming and I will be able to get the bike out soon.
It’s been warm enough to melt most of the snow around here, but it’s supposed to get cold and snowy again. I’m getting pretty frustrated with the whole thing, and I’m *more* than ready for spring to get here!
Nope. However, I had my car serviced yesterday, and Toyota cleaned the car again (wasn’t expecting it - I thought that they had stopped valeting when servicing). Then I had it cleaned yet again today when another mob re-applied the paint protection…poor car doesn’t get cleaned for six months, then gets cleaned three times in as many days. It’s probably in shock!
I need a dealer that will do that. Mine could definitely use a good cleaning. Mind you now that the weather is warming up maybe I’ll get the shop vac out and go over the inside real good. I’m going to leave the outside until the snow has all melted and I won’t be driving thru puddles all the time. It’s a useless endeavor to try and keep a car clean around here at this time of year.
I have written before but those were never read really by anyone but myself and that was now 30 years ago. I was encouraged by a few friends to try and so I have and I’m really hoping some will read it. Please note that I took ‘poetic’ license to invent some words (particularly adjectives) suited to the ambiance but I think they’re fairly obvious) I have had one review so far and THAT made me feel pretty good! If you have Amazon Prime is free, but I think, from what I could see, that if you click the illustrated cover, you can read the first 2-3 chapters as a preview. This is illustrated and not long (Amazon estimates about 65 pages). It was fun and I really DO hope some of you will actually read it for me!
