Things are looking up around here, it finally stopped raining. On the other hand the grass is greener and growing faster than I’ve ever seen it before. I guess that means the lawn mower is coming out of hiding when I get off shift.
The sun is shining here, too, finally! We got a break from the rain this past weekend, and my brother was nice enough to come and mow the front yard (my mower didn’t want to start), but I haven’t been able to get anything else done outside due to the rain. I’ll be glad if it stays gone for a while!
Today I’ve got a ton of cleaning and laundry to do, and I think I’m going to put Heather to work outside. And I’ll hopefully have more editing work to do later!
Looks like there are a lot of peeved off orifficers in the Great Lakes State and it has created a situation where they have lobbied for a revision of the statute that allows for pursuit of them… and the changes being proposed are going to make the bidness environment here much less friendly towards anyone trying to buy a bidness from another person if they rack up tax debt (it will be dumped on the purchaser rather than the people who failed to meet the obligation the way the changes are written!) and will allow the owner to escape responsibility if they dissolve the bidness with unfiled returns and unresolved liabilities… plus the powers proposing this change have decided that personal privacy is irrelevant so all involved parties must be revealed to anybody being pursued and the documentation for all persons must be provided to each other including all tax returns and correspondence for the same periods.
I can’t wait for one of the people approving this amendment to come under the provisions of it in their personal dealings since they are pretty much all business owners themselves.
