So far, this apocalypse has been as disappointing as all the apocalypses we’ve been through before.

Although my computer did conveniently glitch as I tried to post this the first time round…

That’s because it’s not the 21st yet. You have to remember that the Mayans were on this side of the world and go by their time table, not yours. wink

Well, that’s just silly.  I expect my apocalypses to be timely, not a day behind because it’s happening on the wrong side of the International Date Line. raspberry

Considering my family is getting together for the holidays tomorrow, I really hope it doesn’t happen then, or if it does, it waits until we’re all together, yeah?

Still, in honor of the Mayans, I’ve made sure that the gifts contain a not insignifigant amount of chocolate.

Oppie, I’m stealing that! cool grin

I, for one, welcome our apocalyptic-causing overlords! cheese
I shall offer them gift of chocolate and caffeine-laced java victuals and so shall ensure my preferred place amongst their slave army! surprised

I will be sitting the dawn out, waiting for the certain tidal waves that will crush all of the nonbelievers! (I am just a wee bit inland, for the record..) cool grin

Yeah Dave, as scarey as the Apocalypse!  I’m also considering that the BANG could happen at any time during the 24-hour period of the 21st?  So, until Australia flips over to midnight and enters the 22nd, none of us can consider ourselves safe yet?

In the meantime:  Happy Yule everyone!!!

Yup, no apocalypse here.  Although considering the state of the local shopping centre, you could be forgiven for thinking that one is on its way…. big surprise
