Christian fundamentalists refusing to accept evolution, now plan to mount an expedition to the darkest of Africa to disprove it. Claiming that Pterosaurs (flying reptiles that scientists agree went extinct 65 million years ago) still live there, they aim to capture either living specimens or collect fertile eggs, and bring them to the US to be displayed in a museum:

EDIT: as outlined in posts below, there are reasons to think this is actually a brilliant hoax

Delving further on that website, I am starting to believe it is a brilliant hoax.

Check out the Kidz craft section. On how to make your own cartboard crucifixion nail etc.:

Make a nail just like the ones used by the Romans to crucify Our Lord. A thought-provoking project that will impress upon your children the suffering that Jesus went through on their behalf. Makes a great Christmas ornament!

Caution: Pointy edges. Not for children under 5.

Requires: 1 sheet of paper or card stock, scissors, scoring tool, glue or tape.

(* Adult supervision required when using a hobby knife.)

I saw a link to the Landover web site at:

http://objectiveministries.org/shutdown/

I suspect it’s a “Landover hoax”.

That Cafe Press link isn’t working.

For some odd reason indeed: copy and paste the URL into your webbrowser and it will work

This is the the part that convinced me it’s a hoax. “I have also contacted “Johnny” Kimbuso, my African guide from my last expedition, to see if he would be willing to help. It was he who managed to take the picture of the apatosaur we uncovered. Hopefully, I can convince him to join me again on another Creation Science adventure, although he still suffers trauma from his close encounter with the charging dinosaur.”

So….where’s the picture of this AMAZING find?

When they were downloading the picture from their camera somebody opened the door and the light destroyed it.

If you look at the Landover Baptist Church web site you will see it’s very similar with design and graphics. I’m sure they’ve made other websites that are “critical” of them, i.e. those “other websites” were hoaxes themselves. So you had hoaxes web sites denouncing the Landover Baptist Church which is itself a parody web site.
