My cousin put this on Face Book here’s the caption:

First you don’t get it… Then you do… And then you can’t UN-get it!
(plz respect others experience and keep it to your self, the key)
Hopefully thought-provoking. Even more hopefully action-provoking.

If the image is a little small for you try this one.

I recognize three of them - I should have recognized four.  Two I’m kind of ‘meh’ on as they don’t seem that distinctive, one I’ve heard of but rarely seen, and one is completely new to me.

Erik got some of these after a hint told him the first.  In all fairness though, you have to have watched a lot of TV cartoons OR been a parent who raised children.  I didn’t so don’t.  Aside from the fact that even if you figure out the representations, this is a pitiful waste of time to me since there is no other point to it.

I am likely a bad person for recognizing it right off the bat.

From the thumbnail.

I’ve seen similar ‘minimalist’ posters, though, so I guess it’s not so bad.

#3 on the left made me smile a great deal.

Not sure what the bottom right one is.

I’ll give my uninformed impression. Starting from the top left corner going down the column and then starting from the top right corner going down.

1 Somebody giving the finger (or “flipping the bird”).
2 An intervention being given for somebody who’s got an eating problem.
3 Some fancy pants new skyscraper with blue and white columns being a snob to the other buildings
4 Some poor adult shopper standing in line behind some school children
5 A group of men with no imagination for choosing woollen pull overs
6 A mean spirited man being given a frosty reception
7 A father and son with old fashioned haircuts
8 A football coach standing in front of his team.

I can’t be bothered knowing the real answers so I’ll just stick to what I’ve made up.

Not *quite*, no… try the following:

1 “Don’t have a cow, man”
2 “Oh my god, they killed Kenny!”
3 Two words: Magic Potion
4 Hubert, Douglas, and Lewis, with their uncle.
5 Cowabunga
6 Two words: Mushroom Village
7 Roomates, despite their differences
8 not a clue..

*rummages*

Ah, that explains it. It’s european. Explains why #3 is in there as well.

I don’t know, I believe I like Peter’s since those at least makes creative sense or is at least more imaginative and colorful than the cartoons they are supposed to represent!

Now I’m wondering what ‘action provoking’’ is supposed to be inspired by figuring out what this is?

They all just looked like a bunch of Lego figures to me.
