I stumbled onto a book called The Glorious Deception at a book store. I didn’t buy it but the link goes to it on Amazon.

From what I read on the description it’s about a Magician who posed as a Chinese male but after his death it was revealed he was really a caucasian. Even then his apparent “real identity” was fraudulent. I’ll wait until after I get a job before I think about buying the book. Has anybody else read it?

From what I can gather even his on stage accidental death seemed suspicious.

I was listening to Professor Blastoff’s ‘magic’ episode yesterday and this guy came up. Coincidence?

Unless Professor Blastoff went to the same book store that I visited on Lygon Street in Melbourne Australia it must be some coincidence. Then again I suppose it would be some coincidence in itself if he did go to the same book store.

Bet you can’t tell I’ve cut down on coffee lately cheese

Happens to everyone. You think of something and then some time later you read about it or someone brings it up in a totally unrelated context.
I think there’s even a couple of theories about how this happens. Collective consciousness?

EDIT: It has a name! It’s called the ‘Baader-Meihof Phenomenon’

Yeah, I’ve had that a few times. It’s like Deja Vu turned sideways.

And to add to the weirdness, I was actually thinking about collective consciousness this morning…specifically about sharing dreams…
