Evacuation Day is celebrated in Egypt each year on 18th June.
It marks the proclamation of the Egyptian Republic after a military coup
deposed King Farouk in 1952, and the day in 1956 when Egypt declared full independence from the British.

Ach, “15” is actually “18” with a Scottish accent, lassie.

So this is a day in Egyptian history when someone had a massive bowel movement?

Well, that’d certainly sully the thread…

Not any worse than usual, though, considering our usual track record of thread-sullying.

At least this one’s not waist-deep in ex-spammer ashes…

Mmmm, toasted spammers….

And for some reason, I was in a very antisocial mood today.  Not sure why, but I get that way a couple of times a year, when all I want is to be left alone.  I think I’m okay now, though.

Know how that goes, Crafty. Guys tend to get that more than women for some reason. It’s why there’s the ‘man cave’, or working on the car in the driveway, or going fishing.. they just need some ‘me time’.

Yep. Not only is this thread waist-deep in spammer ashes, but the entire forum is. I just had to dowse the entire place in gasoline and torch it for one spammer. The spammer had posted in every sub-forum and in at least ten different threads in each sub-forum. Wow. It was quite a productive spammer. Luckily it only takes a couple clicks of the mouse to pour the gasoline and ignite.
