Not any longer.

But it does beg the question of why this person had to reply to their own message. Couldn’t manage to squeeze those two sentences (if they can be called such without any punctuation or capitalization) into one post? I know the 5000 character limit per post is a bit strict, but I think you could have managed it. And with capital letters, spaces and punctuation, too!

Some kid (probably 9-12)) does a google search on something (s)he’s interested in, finds this forum, looks for some friends, and you guys treat him or her like (poop). I thought the regulars on this forum were above that. Sorry, I was wrong.

Well, he was really treated more like a spammer-in-waiting since he hadn’t actually spammed yet, but was acting like one. We know as there have been a lot of them lately. Luckily his later posts (these were his first posts) were better and he attempted try type better. If you look around you would see he was treated better as he interacted more and showed himself to be a real person. Try looking at the pet thread in off topic if you’d like a better example and your quickly-jumped-to-assumptions changed.
