About ten years ago, before I swore off talking to my dad at all, he tried to convince me that the FBI was trying to find him because he had “thought-up” how to build such a device.  Now my dad is a barely-literate truck driver who lives in some small rural town in southeast Missouri—I had a hard time thinking he could just “think up” how to build something that has eluded thousands of actual scientists for decades, if not centuries.

Of course, the guy also claimed to be psychic and capable of astral projection, so I guess he can just break the laws of thermodynamics at will!

Well, it’s been a while but I guess we can put an end to this particular SCAM.

After 19 months the Amega guys pulled the plug.

“...Amega Worldwide has notified a select group of distributors by conference call that the United States division of Amega Global, LLC will be closing its operation as of August 31st, 2011. The reason given was that the parent company, based in Singapore, ordered the closure due to “insolvency”. Such a term is usually applied to a company that can no longer meet its financial obligations to its vendors and creditors.”

Oh well, on to new scams eh?

Sam Adams jumped ship 6 weeks before the end along with a few other folks.

You can still buy the Amwand from folks who got caught out by the collapse. They just want to recoup something for their fancy metal pen.

Sam was supposed to start a new company, (scam),  Sevenpoint2 but his name only appears in the early web page.

Lately he seems to be conspicuous by his absence!

BTW The out of the ashes Amega company is now called Amwell Technologies.  Enjoy their “products”. They really work, right?
