In one of those Cosmic Coincidences, I was flipping through the radio stations on my way home last night. The comedy station had a Bill Cosby sketch on called “Spanish Fly”. He mentioned Robert Culp and their trip to Spain (for I Spy) in the skit.

I have looked EVERYWHERE for that show!!!  I remember watching it as a teen, and i have NEVER been able to find so much as a reference for it! surprised

It was a phenomenal episode.  it figures it was an Outer Limits episode….. it was SO avante guard and mind bending.

I surely plan on trying to find the story in print and the episode (now that i know what the stupid thing is called) online.

Thanks!!!! cheese

I just bought a collection of The Outer Limits DVDs the other day, and I think that this episode was one of the included shows.

The Outer Limits didn’t have the consistent high quality writing that The Twilight Zone usually had, but there were a handful of episodes that were as good as the best TTZ had to offer.  Of course it’s a Harlan Ellison story, so that’s probably why it’s such a memorable one.

Ahh.. Apparently he was also the voice of Doctor Breen in Halflife 2, which would be a more recent credit people would be familiar with.
