Giant eye!
And “beans are evil!”

I’m watching it now.  I’m probably going to download it later, and watch it without commercials.

And…steampunk-y….hmm.  Don’t know if I like the new look yet.

My cousin, on his Twitter feed, said:

Sorry to say, latest Dr. Who episode (“Victory of the Daleks”) was a dud. Afraid the 2005 SF renaissance is just about played out.

And this coming from a huge Dr. Who fan.  (My grandmother knitted him a Dr. Who scarf many, many years ago when we were… however old we were when the Doctor wore the scarf. And he says he still has it.)

But take that as you may. Some people will obviously like shows better than other people will.

It wasn’t very good
had a lot of plot holes in it (well a few)
and the new daleks look like
cartoons.

Smerk the cutest dragon
Lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist
In Western Australi

Little Accipiter loved that girl enough
He told her jokes and crazy facts
And other forum stuff

Smerk the cutest dragon:
Traveled cross the sea,
To hunt her prey in foriegn lands,
And snuggle with Acci!

Smerk the cutest dragon
Is getting married now they say
Though little Accipiter
Has yet to name the day.

I quite enjoyed it (whilst ignoring some plot holes). Couple of good twists in it.
I’m going to have to disagree with your cousin, Tah.

Well, series one of the new doctor, series five since the 2005 reboot, series whatever of the whole thing. Series Fnargh, as I believe Stephen Moffat is calling it.

Giant eye!

And all I could think of was how much it reminded me of Boo’s avatar. 😊

Ah.  It’s one of those situations.

I must say, I’m not as big a fan as this new guy as David Tennant. Matt Smith just doesn’t have a very expressive face, especially in ‘The Beast below’. He seems to just have a dopey, puppy look and a blank look. I’ve enjoyed the new episodes, don’t get me wrong but 10 will always be *my* Doctor I think.

And as for the last couple of series being ‘heavier’ or ‘darker’, that’s why I’ve enjoyed them so much 😊

So, I’m watching “The Beast Below”, and the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver is blue again…and doesn’t have the thingies around the light…anyone else notice that?
