Dorothy and Dwight Darnell, were surprised last week when they discovered reams of pages printed from the Internet in their son Cody’s bedroom and learned of his plan to print a hard copy of all of the Internet to win a $50 bet with his seventeen year old cousin, Mikey Darnell-Wilson.

The bet came about during the main course of the family’s Thanksgiving lunch after a heated debate between Cody and Mikey about the size of the Internet and the feasibility of printing it out. Under the terms of the bet, Cody has six months to complete the printing and if Mikey can find a site on the Internet which has not been printed he wins the bet, if he can

Wow, there is gonna be a lot of porn to print out.  There is no way this kid could come close.  There are soo many things out there on the internet i dont think anyone should ever see or read (some of those ive seen here i think, heh).  And think of how much you would spend on paper and ink,  WAAAYY over 50 bucks.  Just my thoughts..

This is a hoax, by the way.  It would probably cost millions to do, not to mention a small forest’s worth of paper.

Soldier: Oh, right. I forgot about the battle.

I don’t think it falls under jokes or hoaxes as much as it does news.

However, as much as I hate “experts” I agree on one thing:

Children under 16 (depending on maturity level) should not have internet access in their private bedrooms.  Put the damn computer in a common room and monitor their activities.  For God’s sake, don’t wait untel they’ve printed out the internet or become engaged to a 45 year old prision inmate.

Actually, I could’ve sworn I’d seen this on Snopes…I can’t seem to find it if I did, though.
