And once again, the fundamentalist part of “Christians” not only shows how stupid they are, but also how inhumane…

I concur!  As I pointed out to my friend earlier (in chat), I expected the country and President Bush to give aid for the tsunami that hit in 2004.  He did.  I expected the country and President Obama to give aid for this tragedy as well.  He did.  There is no political agenda in being a good human being.

Nor is there a religious agenda.

Amazingly, it’s always the unnamed people that are the heroes, all those who give what they’re able to give.

Now, now Dave.  It wasn’t his fault.  But maybe he can point you in the right direction.

Roger Ebert had some choice words for Limbaugh’s comments. And I find it highly hypocritical that Limbaugh insists that Obama uses everything for political advantages when he (Limbaugh) uses every flipping thing the president does to get attention. Blah.

And I really don’t get how “Haiti” makes a deal with the devil. Did the entire population have one huge meeting and unanimously agree to this? And if that’s the case, then wouldn’t it be the original people who made the pact who were cursed? I mean, it’s not like the island itself made the deal (unless Robertson is being idiotic enough to imply that a mass of dirt and rock is able to think, summon Satan, and agree to a contract).

Oh, and riiiight, they summoned the devil to get a revolution for independence. Just like our ancestors did. You know, people can have a revolt if they’re upset enough with the government. The way Robertson’s saying it, I kind of feel like he’s implying “Oh, those silly people in Haiti couldn’t possibly have won a revolution on their own like we did! Nope, they must have needed evil supernatural forces”.

Again, I say blah.
