At first glance, this looks like a standard site about avoiding teen pregnancy, until you watch the "Public Service Announcments" under TV commercials - then check out the FAQ.
www.technicalvirgin.com is defintely a hoax, but a really funny one.

I've actually got this on the site somewhere. I think in the Gallery of Hoax Websites. I first came across it back in the Clinton era when Clinton was claiming that he technically didn't have sex with Monica. So it seemed to have a weird political relevance. |

Okay, then I'll fess up that my partner David Mack and I are the evildoers behind technicalvirgin.com. We put the site up as-is many years ago, haven't touched it, don't maintain it, and about once a year it makes headlines somewhere - this year we were on the canadian show TECH TV, and then on somewhere in German TV. 😊
Great site you have here, btw. 😊 |

Alex, on one site, you mention Clinton was claiming that he didn't technically have sex with Monica. You are no doubt refering to the statement, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman". I am totally surprised that I have not read one sentence by ANYONE claiming that he was TRUTHFUL. Monica confirmed that they DIDN'T have intercourse. I beg you and everone else to look up the words "sexual relations" on page 1079 of the Websters Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary. You will find the phrase means "Coitus". Look up coitus on page 258. It says"Physical union of male and female genitalia accompanied by rhythmic movements usually leading to the ejaculation of semen from the penis into the female reproductive tract". Although he has been made a fool by that statement it is nevertheless TRUE. It is pure legalese and he was too embarrassed to say so. He is a brilliant man but stupid to do what he did with Monica in the White House.
So you see, this IS a hoax brought on by the people themselves by assuming that "sexual relations" meant something broad in definition when indeed, it was right to the point. |

I don't think Clinton ever used the phrase "technicallY" when defending himself, although I remember alot of news programs would say things like "so much fuss over stuff that isn't technically sex" |

Geeeeee, viewed TechicalVirgin.com video of safesex and come to find out there is no such website ... real bummer as this would have potential. What an awesome vid and imagination. Someone needs to expand their creativity a bit. |

This is a case where the French term is so much nicer than the English.
French is Demivierge, literally "Partly virgin".
English is Pr*cktease.
Ah, Le bon mot du Francais . . . |
