I read this a while ago. I seem to remember, but don't quote me on this, because I cannot find it again, that it was written by some magazine writer as a joke, to show the gullibility of people who were "technically challenged", while giving anyone who knows more than how to flip the power switch on a few laughs.
It was meant to be seen as an obvious joke by some, but taken seriously by the people who do stupid stuff like forward email chainletters, and have no idea what linux is, so that the people "in the know" ended up getting two laughs for the price of one.
But, like I said, don't quote me on that, I can't find the article again. If I do, I'll post it here.
Maybe it was all a gas-fume induced hallucination.

I am truly shocked. I never knew I was a paid hacker!!!! My computer here at work is a tool of evil. How could I have been sooo blinded to the specialty pharmacy front. I must be working for a multi million dollar company that is into drugs and stealing peoples information, annd I have helped them do this. I knew those meetings were doing brain washing of sometype. They asked me to get competitor info to see where we stand in the market. OH MY GOD, I was spying, for shame. When they told me that I was salesman of the month, that must of been Hacker talk, saying I was the BEST hacker!!!! If I get fired, the only people that will hire me is the federal government. |

One thing i would like to say about that article, if you believe any of the shit in that, you are a damn moron. Thank god most of you here dont believe it, if not all of you. Hackers are not usually that different from normal ppl, they are not usually all nerds, some are married, have girlfriends, have great social lifes, so none of that bullshit is true.
